Relieving the post-selection problem by quantum singular value transformation
Published in arXiv preprint, 2025
This paper proposes a fully quantum strategy for avoiding the post-selection bottleneck that appears when measuring nonlinear observables in quantum dynamics. Using quantum singular value transformation, it deterministically simulates post-selected states for pure-state settings, extends the framework to mixed states through linear amplitude amplification, and introduces a pseudoinverse decoder for measurement-induced quantum teleportation.
