Measurement induced scrambling and emergent symmetries in random circuits
Published in arXiv preprint, 2025
This work studies how unitary evolution and measurements jointly shape entanglement and scrambling in random circuits. By mapping the dynamics to a classical spin problem, it analyzes both measurement-induced and measurement-only transitions, derives conditions for globally scrambled phases under joint measurements, and uncovers emergent U(1) and SU(2) symmetries in the large-qudit limit.
