Measuring unconventional causal structures in monitored dynamics

Published in arXiv preprint, 2026

This paper studies causal structure in monitored quantum dynamics, where measurements and post-selection can generate behavior that differs sharply from classical relativistic intuition. It introduces cross-entropy quantum causal influence as a measurable diagnostic of state-dependent causal structure, demonstrates exotic effects such as inverted light cones, and analyzes the relation between time arrow and entropy in analytically tractable models.
